On July 27th 2014 Tony Burns will be "Bringing It Home for the Kids" in another Ultramarathon (100km), this time in Darwin - all to raise much needed funds for Local Darwin Schools & Familes. With the support from Amy and friends on the day, Tony has no doubt that he will succeed in this journey, doing it all while promoting the "John Maclean Foundation (JMF)".JMF provides financial assistance and inspiration to young Australians under the age of 18, who require wheelchairs for mobility.
The Ultramarathon this year will begin in the early hours at the Adelaide River Jumping Croc Cruise and finish at Crocosaurus Cove; which is why we've dubbed it 'Croc to Croc'. Please show your support by donating or sharing this page, and liking our Facebook page 'Bringing it Home for the Kids'. We will keep you up to date with Tony's training and post up coming Fundraising Events to our Facebook page, so that we can all be a part of this together! We have been privileged enough to deliver a wheelchair access vehicle to Umi and her family in recent times, which was made possible from 2013's Fundraising efforts, which involved many inspiring and supportive Darwinites! This year we are aiming high and hope to fund an Assistance Puppy (smartpups.org.au), wheelchair ramp for the farm and light learning therapy for Nemarluk School.
Get on board Darwin, and help Tony and Amy Bring It Home For the Kids!
