My Story

On the 21st Feb 2015 I will undertake to swim from Cottesloe Beach to Rottnest Island (WA) a minimum 20km's up to 24km's depending on the conditions.  I have been training for this event for 2 years.

In 2006 I met John MacLean (JMF) and I was inspired by his story and book.  I have followed him including his 60Minutes feature story in 2014.  His Foundation provides financial assistance to young Australians who use wheelchairs, by way of new chairs, vehicle & house modifications, surgery and medical assistance and aids.

In 2005 I had a serious fall myself where I compressed 3 vertebrae and shattered my hip.  I am very fortunate that I am not utilising a wheelchair and it brings me great pleasure in being able to raise funds to support the John MacLean Foundation.

Please help me by showing your support for this great cause as I am sure this will get me over those last few kilometres.

Thank You
